| For ten years prior, Mr. Aikens had been in charge of Purchasing and Estimating at Cauldwell Wingate Company, LLC and continues to provide leadership as part of its Executive Committee. During his tenure, Mr. Aikens worked on many projects including commercial office buildings, medical and research facilities, historical preservations and educational institutions. Prior to that he worked in Boston, New York, Washington DC and Florida during a ten-year program at a large construction management firm.
Mr. Aikens graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and an A.A.S. in Construction Management. He is a member of the Contractors’ Association of Greater New York (CAGNY). |
Mr. Aikens co-founded Five Elements West to deliver luxury products to designers and owners in the western markets by using the avenues created by globalization, cultivating partnerships during visits to over 250 manufacturers in Asia over the past 5 years. |
